27 Manor Place, Cambridge house tour

27 Manor Place was operating as an existing holiday home in the heart of Cambridge. The client enlisted Nesh’s help to stage the property to bring it up to date and make it look more refined.

The property could only accommodate two guests as the second bedroom was furnished as a study. Nesh converted the second room into a bedroom with a single bed (with a second bed underneath) accommodating two extra guests.

Nesh replaced the furniture, added some extra accessories and new artwork to make it feel more welcoming and aspirational for potential holiday makers. Take a virtual tour of this property below and if you’re interested in the services that Nesh offers, click here.

Open-plan living area

The living area is a sizeable open-plan space that can accommodate both a lounge and a dining table.

Nesh replaced all of the furniture in the living room including a new dining set, sofa, armchair and coffee table.

Working closely with the client, it was decided that the furniture needed to be versatile and boast a contemporary design that suited the rest of the property. All of the furniture can easily be moved around by guests if they require.

Galley kitchen

This holiday let has a narrow galley kitchen that leads directly into the living and dining area.

There was little that Nesh needed to do in this space other than to declutter it and make it look like a stylish and functional kitchen. Key appliances such as as microwaves, kettles and toaster can all be arranged and sourced by Nesh.

Bright main bedroom

The colour palette throughout this holiday let is cool neutrals. Nesh chose a grey patterned headboard that feels elegant and luxurious.

Dressing a bed properly can change the entire feel of a bedroom. Nesh added new fresh white bedding, a sumptuous overthrow and some stylish velvet cushions.

The mirrored wardrobes in this room are not only great storage for guests but they bounce light around the room making it feel bigger than it actually is.

Second bedroom

Prior to this property being staged by Nesh, this particular room was furnished as an office. Even though an office space can be useful, it felt redundant for a holiday let and could have been utilised in a much better way.

After discussions with the client, Nesh decided to change the office into a functioning bedroom. Nesh added a single bed that has a second bed underneath, transforming this property into a holiday rental that can now sleep up to four people.

Spacious shower room

The bathroom includes a large shower unit with contemporary fittings. It is the ideal place for holiday makers to relax and unwind.

Nesh provided some luxury bathroom products and accessories to bring this space to life, including fresh towels and a stylish soap dispenser and tumbler set.
